Renew Design Build is a residential construction company specializing in building luxury homes in the KC Metro area with majority of our work in Prairie Village KS, Leawood KS and West Plaza KC.
With an art background, we approach home building from a fresh perspective. We build a quality home with attention to the aesthetic details uniquely designed with premium features beyond the standard new build home.
The team
Renew Design Build is owned by Kelley and Jim. She works with the architects, manages budgets and collaborates on the design decisions. He is the General Contractor and the go-to contact on site.
Owner / Operations Manager
As an Owner and Operations Manager, Kelley helps create new homes from concept to completion, working closely with architects, managing budgets, and collaborating on design decisions that make each project feel intentional. She believes good design pairs best with a morning green tea, a love of black cats, and a curious approach to cocktails, recipes, and travel. Bonus points if Italy is involved.
Owner / General Contractor
Jim is one of the Owners and the General Contractor who keeps every project moving forward and every detail pointed in the right direction. As the go-to contact for onsite questions, he has a steady presence in the field and a sharp eye on the bigger picture. Known for juggling multiple irons in the fire without breaking a sweat, Jim thrives on momentum, problem-solving, and forward motion. He makes sure each project stays on track, on schedule, and ready for whatever comes next, including the next great idea.
Project Assistant
As the Project Liaison, Kate is the grounding force that brings every detail into alignment. She believes in showing up, doing the work, and keeping things honest and simple. Off the clock, Kate keeps a simple philosophy; if it can't be measured on a good time scale, it's not worth the trouble.
Office Administrator
In her role as Office Administrator, Becky is the quiet force behind the scenes, who brings order to our creative process. She wrangles schedules, details, and logistics with calm precision, freeing our design and build teams to do what they do best. With an intuitive grasp of project flow, Becky ensures that every inspired idea is anchored to a project plan and comes together as planned.
